The room was small but workable. The door is an old fashioned key from both sides type with no other means to lock the door from the inside. The first bath towel I got literally fell apart but the 2nd one was the softest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Restaurant was good and they poured a good pint. The walls are quite thin so it’s a little noisy.

I cant fault this hotel it provided all the amenities of a great hotel but with a unique homely feel. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming and the food was great especially the breakfasts. The bar/restaurant has a nice atmosphere and looks cosy at Christmastime with the decoration. Thanks so much to all at the New Park for a lovely stay we will be back again.

We stayed here for five nights - the staff at New Park were exceptional - always happy and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay very enjoyable. The Hotel has a family atmosphere.
