Our stay at the Salthill Hotel was very good. The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The onsite pub and restaurant were relaxing and offered a good selection. Being located within walking distance of the local shops and pubs was a plus.

Staff was helpful and confirmed upgraded room to bay view. They also provided information for their on-site dining if it were to be of interest. Easy check in and check out. Getting out of the on-site parking was not intuitive (free for hotel guests) and staff had to clarify to just hit the help button on the exit and they would open the gate. Overall a lovely stay with amazing views. Sunrise on the Bay was incredible.

We were upgraded to the bridal suite and it was amazing! Beautiful, large room with water views. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the gym or pool as there was a chemical Spill. Taxis take a long time and are sporadic but walkable to city. Staff is very friendly and helpful - great breakfast and nice restaurant on peoperty.

Room was clean, has air-conditioning, which was extremely nice and the restaurant downstairs was good as well. The breakfast in the morning was nice also, included a lot of different options. The hotel was a tiny bit outside of everything in town so we took cabs & Uber but this was a good trade-off for us as we preferred the nicer stay compared to what was offered right in town

We really enjoyed this property. It had a restaurant, bar and health club, so the amenities were very convenient. We enjoyed the full breakfast too. The only downside is that it is very dated. The hotel really needs renovation. Otherwise everything was great.
