「Love this hotel because it is on a small kettle lake near the National Park. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake which was great for casual birding in the morning and evening. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Can't wait to see the remodeled rooms and lobby when completed! This is our new favorite place to stay when visiting family in the area.」

「This is a wonderful old Victorian that they did a great job updating. Housekeeping needs to pay a little more attention to some spaces. The heater air conditioner has some black spots on it. And next to the stove has crumbs. I am not able to use stairs very well and there wasn't an option on check-in to request a first floor accommodation or a way to indicate before booking the room what that was going to look like which limited my ability to transport personal items to the room. I'm also unsure...

「Towels have stains 」

「I arrived at approximately 7:15 pm and no one was there to check me in. I called two numbers and no one answered. Finally, someone answered one of my texts. The room indicated in the text was not ready when I stepped into it at 7:30 pm. A housekeeper showed then and started cleaning. It took about 15-20 minutes. The room itself is spacious – akin to a smaller one-bedroom apartment – but in a horrible condition (grease on the ceiling in the kitchen area, handles missing from the cabinets,...

「It is very convenient to eat and shopping around, but the room is very old, the bed and furniture are old, and the room smells bad, and the Wi-Fi is not good.」

「On site restaurant and bar were convenient and very nice. Walkable to restaurants. Very close to Indiana Dunes. Good WiFi. Clean. Hot tub and pool missed the mark in my opinion. Pool was rather chilly and hot tub doesn’t have bubbles. Maintenance said the tub is a spa so doesn’t have to.」

「Terrible . We find a leftover fish in the microwave and a hoodie in the bathroom . Not to mention unclean tub and rug. You deserve something better .I Sleep without shower and with my clothes on.」

「The hotel is conveniently located just off of the highway with a variety of shopping near by. The staff was warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond to get our large group checked in and met all of our room requests.」
