Staying here for work, has been relatively quiet. Staff is freindly and courteous, building and grounds are clean. Room is spacious and beds are comfortable.

Just like my first stay, clean, comfy room and friendly, helpful staff. They are also honest in their relationship to guests. I like that! I will stay in the future and it's my first choice now when I go to Portage.

The Lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Parts of the building was under construction was the only complaints. A nice Restaurant was in walking distance.

Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It looks like they are updating the rest of the property, our room was already updated. It was just noisy with the other guests.

My entire state from arrival to departure if they worked with me in every situation that arrives and they were above and beyond professional. The size of the property is not qualified for it to be a flagship property with choice hotels, but everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance and everywhere in between are all stellar!!!

Staff was very nice and got me checked in fast. Was nice and quiet in the room and outside area what little I was outside getting luggage from my truck to take in. Had gotten caught in rain down in southern states that day so clothes got wet in my suitcase and was able to use the laundry facilities to dry them. The washer/dryers take both quarters or you can download an app and add money to that then pay to do laundry thru that app someway. I chose to get change to do my drying since it was just the one load I needed to do but to have other options was nice!!

If you are looking for a place to stay with all the bells and whistles, this is not the place for you. If you need a pool and exercise room and breakfast, choose another option. Frankly, when I saw the price for a night here, I was expecting a dump! I am glad to say that it is no such place. The room was very comfortable with Tv, study desk, fridge and microwave. The entire place was immaculately clean. The staff (of one? at least that is all we ever saw) was very attentive, helpful and welcoming. The room gave evidence of being recently painted. Overall, our three nights in the area to see a grandson were very pleasant. I recommend this Econo Lodge if you need the basics at a VERY reasonable price.

It has been remodeled somewhat recently. No carpeting in the room, no towel bars in the bathroom for hand towels. Very basic in extras. It did have a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker, hair dryer, luggage rack, closet, or safe that i saw. When you arrive and check-in, you then drive around to rhe closest door to your room to go in. Using your room key to open the outside door to get into the building, the key card unlocked the door, but the door stuck so we thought it didn't unlock until a 3rd try and had to pull with a lot of effort to get the door to open... same with the room door, shut and opened very hard. The rooms bathroom had a mildew smell and the stand up shower had cracked and chipped tiles in it. The bed was comfortable. Seemed new and new bed frame. Not wooden. The room had this dirty laminate floor, no carpet or rugs. I regretted not bringing some slippers to have on in the room. So it felt kinda cold, not inviting or warm to be in. Overall, it was exactly what i figured for the money. We get what we paid for. A place to rest at leaat.
