「They say they’re pet friendly but big signs up saying there’s a huge fine if you bring a pet! Very run down. We had a shared balcony so couldn’t have the door open for security and it got very warm. Although the hotel was almost empty the room next to us was booked and the walls are super thin and we were unlucky with noisy room neighbours. No staff on site 」

「We stayed in a Junior Suite in the newer building right next to the main hotel. The recently renovated rooms were clean and modern, with several balconies facing what I think are the best views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau in Murren. The spa in the basement was also very well kept and relaxing - a great way to end a long day of hiking. The restaurant in the main hall is grand, luxurious, and cooks fantastic food. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the Jungfrau region.」

「Staff was amazing, great location and property. My only gripe is flies, yes flies EVERYWHERE. In the restaurant and room. We left windows open for 20 minutes and counted 12 flies on the room. Dinner, there were easily 10 flies at our table alone. This is common in the area so I don’t blame the hotel. I was told the cows are the reason」
