This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The mountain view from the balcony was extraordinary, the breakfast was great, it was super clean, convenient, and just all-around awesome. We traveled with a 4 year old, and they really accommodated her too. I’d love to come back someday.

Exceptional location, beautiful view of the Mountains. In town, you can walk to all places shops and restaurants. You can get to many areas from here by train. Highly recommend.

Loved the balconies and view, close proximity to town and things to do/train to Interlaken, etc. rooms were great - stayed on a hot week so know there is no AC. Wengen is the best and this hotel was a great place to stay with kids, as our room had bunk beds in a separate bedroom.

✨ Exceptional Stay at Hotel Schönegg, Wengen We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Schönegg. The views from our room’s balcony were absolutely outstanding—far better than we could have hoped for. Waking up to panoramic alpine scenery was truly special. 🛏️ The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean and comfortably appointed. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming. 🥐 Breakfast was a lovely highlight each morning, offering a good variety of options to suit different tastes and dietary needs. 🌟 Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend Hotel Schönegg to anyone visiting Wengen. A perfect base for a Swiss mountain escape!

Paradise on earth. Wengen was my favorite town in this area. This hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains from the room balcony. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. It was an absolutely perfect stay. The staff gave us advice on activities, the breakfast was wonderful and everyone was really friendly, which is so comforting when you're far from home. The location of the hotel was perfect about 2-10 minute walk from all transport, shopping or dining. Traveler tip- we expected the area to be cold based on forecasts, but it was sunny and warm (except at some mountain peaks), bring a pair of shorts even if you think you won't need them, and sunscreen!

The front desk staff was very rude and put out that we had questions about luggage transfer. It was very inconvienient that no one was there after 5pm since we got in late and planned to leave early. We had no one to help us with some questions and to make some plans. The room was beautiful but the bed was hard and the coffee maker in the lobby was broken.
