Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel Astoria
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great. The only problem was that kids (and some adults) were running and jumping into the pool. Several times my wife and kids were almost hit by these people."
"I’ve been visiting the Ebb Tide Hotel since I was a little girl. It’s charming, slightly outdated, and just a hop away from the main strip and the aquarium—perfect for pondering life while watching fish.
The rooms are clean and comfy, the bathrooms spotless, and the lobby service is very welcoming. Plus, they serve coffee all day, which is essential for survival.
Comtinental Breakfast is served daily between 7-10AM. Offer pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and more. But the real highlight? Around 6 PM, the lobby brings out trays of cookies that are practically a treasure hunt! Just beware: they disappear faster than you can say "cookie monster." I've seen guests grab them like they're auditioning for a cookie-eating contest! 類
Hotel also has firewood, kindling and paper for about $6.00. I highly recommend going out to the beach to do a fire. It’s beautiful to watch the sunset and view the stars at night. You may be lucky to see a fireworks show.
Overall, Ebb Tide Hotel is a nostalgic gem with a side of cookie chaos. I will always keep coming back for the memories ❤️"
"I know the property is in renovation so noise was ok Pool and Hot tub could have been cleaner Lots of sand and grim on sides around water edge Temp of water in both pool and hot tub very good Even though its in renovation be sure all rooms being rented out and in great condition and not needing small repairs or maintenance ie faucets aerators on faucets drapes hanging doors sticking carpets very dirty. Even though we experienced some of these we will return Staff was very friendly and accomedating"
"Absolutely loved this place. took the upgrade and stayed in the king suite with a wrap around deck. Wonderful view of the river and boats, Property is showing it's wear but the staff aims to please. "
