「The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). 「I enjoyed the large bed in our room, the view of a mountain from the patio and the comfort of the reading room. The breakfast was good too. I wish that they had served bacon along with the eggs but the variety of items was nice. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. 」
