「The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). There is an area for games or quiet time. There was a festival on the square Saturday afternoon and evening which made us appreciate the location even more. We had a...

「Property was close to the Plaza so the location was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. The room that was originally assigned to us had a problem with the lock and we needed to be reassigned to a different room. Rather than make us trek back to the front desk to get a different key, housekeeping opened the new room for us and the front desk brought a new set of keys to the room. So nice and responsive. 」

「We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!」

「Check in and check out were completely remote and extremely easy and convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi was fast, water pressure was good, parking easy. They also had a lovely little outdoor area to sit in. I would highly recommend stepping out at night to see the stars - we could see the entire milky way from the parking lot. The only little thing was that the A/C remote was a little hard to use. 」
