Setting is a little rustic but that is part of the charm given the history of the inn. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar/club attached was very cool. Parking could be an issue if it is very full (as some rooms require you to walk quite a bit from the nearest parking spot) but we had no issues. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The bathroom window didn't have a way to be locked and was large enough for someone to get through. The side walk was all ripped up and had yellow tape around it. The lobby was dirty and the community computer was dirty.

I absolutely dislike leaving bad reviews... Our room smelled like dog pee and we had bugs in our bed. The staff was unwilling to do anything about it. I gave them the chance to make it right and they refused. Ended up staying at another hotel for the weekend, while paying full pop at Sagebrush.

Our room was very dusty like it hadn't been rented in a while. There were little dead bugs in every corner of the room and a lot of dead bugs in the light fixture above the microwave also a spiderweb on the counter in the bathroom. The carpet on the balcony was very dirty and we couldn't use the fireplace. There food seemed overpriced.and service mid level at best. We only stayed 1 night so it wasn't worth putting a complaint but since Expedia keeps asking for a review then here you go. Just being honest i really had higher hopes for this stay.

It was quiet. The faucet sprays water all over when you turn it on. Fix it! It was overpriced, considering we didn't get breakfast included, or have a microwave. The refrigerator didnt have a functional freezer. Rather run down.

The buildings were neat and the price wasn’t too bad, but considering that my room smelled like old perfume, the towels had stains on them (hadn't-been-washed type stains) and the floor was sticky, I wasn’t thrilled. The gym wasn’t what I expected either. No continental breakfast. However, we had the pool all to ourselves and the property was quiet and picturesque. The person at the front desk actually promoted me to a larger room to accommodate my children, which was very nice of them. My experience definitely wasn’t ruined by any means. I gave it 3 stars.

The hotel has so much potential—beautiful views, historic architecture (even the newer wings have vigas on the ceilings), live music at the cantina, large grounds for outdoor amenities. But it was SO run down and dirty. I don’t think it would take much to spruce up the rooms, do some landscaping, etc. The hotel Willa, which is just a mile down the street, just got flipped and is charging 3x now—and is always full. Sagebrush has the space to be more resort-like, like El Monte Sagrado. I won’t stay here again (it was just too dirty) but I will hope that someone sees the potential and fixes it up, so it doesn’t continue to deteriorate.

Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed there was no water in the building. I considered canceling but we had driven so far and arrived at 10pm. I negotiated a 50% discount which I naturally had to do via Expedia. We were only staying the night anyway. When I contacted Expedia I was told the hotel offered a $60 discount only. However, this was not 50% as previously agreed. This was very disappointing to hear. Expedia did provide the full 50% discount, which naturally was appreciated. The price of this hotel is good compared to others in the area, but it’s not clean, we had hair in trash bins in the bathrooms and other areas of the bathroom upon arrival. If you need just a place to sleep for the night and would like to have your group of 6 in one room, then this is a good option.

The property is very old and the rooms need updates. Lots of updates! The housekeeping is by request, but we were not informed when we checked in. No breakfast, tea or coffee. Not even hot water.

The staff was friendly- wasn’t able to check in early. The junior suite I booked was dusty, the bed in the wall- dusty, sheets were stained. Very odd room for the price. The fridge was dirty, the remotes to the tvs were dirty. Dusty smell all around. Was in town for a funeral so just needed a bed to sleep so we slept and got outta there quickly!
