We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. 「Booked very short notice late in the evening and was greeted by a friendly staff member, who I had spoken to on the phone and advised where their free car park was situated, bonus for Chepstow. Linen etc was nice and clean as was the lovely new looking bathrooms. I realise an older property, but feel in 2026, could definitely do we a makeover, remove those horrible carpets, and stop the creaking floor boards, change your mattress's.
