Room basic but adequate. Bathroom very tatty particularly the bath which had a damaged rim. Paid extra for breakfast which was with the Good Breakfast company but this was not fresh with very dried sausages and egg and too few beans. Staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful.

Did the job

Checking in was great and the person in the desk was friendly and helpful. Please be ready to pay an extra £5 per car for parking. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk across the motorway bridge and wasn’t worth the money in all honesty. Good for the rest we needed.

The staff member at check is was lovely and this review does not reflect on them at all. Bed mattress was clearly old and springs not great, with a topper on it to try and disguise how poor it was. The chair in the room was broken. Mug leaked everywhere. Bed was also very noisy and broken. Black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Tiles and edge around bath filthy. I know it’s a cheap place to stay, and we were only there for a quick stop over, but yuk!

A handy place to stay for me.

Room's fine, quiet at the back with a view of a field, bed and bathroom good, a desk with a little fridge, places to put clothes, helpful staff. Useful for the A38 and local things and the service station to walk to for food. The WiFi could be faster.

Good choice if you just want somewhere to lay your

Room was clean except for the towels which looked clean but smelt like they’d been stored in a greasy spoon. Bed was comfortable but only a couple of hard chairs to sit on other than the bed. On arrival we had to pay £5 a night for parking which was unexpected. But the staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good choice if you just want somewhere to lay your head and it was quiet.
