Beautifully decorated for Christmas

Came on a weekend to see a beautiful procession of yound Mexican-Americans in their celebratory finery. Purple-violet ante-bellum hooped dresses and thw boys in black cowboy hats, white starched shirts and blue genes. I had read over the weekend about how both the United States of Mexico and the United States of America had worked closely together during WWII to liberate the Philipinnes, in addition to Mexican citizens serving in the US Army and the USA's Bracero Program which lasted two decades after WWII.

This is the Grave Site of David O. Dodd. Considered the Boy Martyr of the South. David O. Dodd was a boy from Texas who had been given a pass to come into Little Rock to see his sweetheart. When he passed through Union lines on December 29th his pass was taken and when he tried to pass through Union lines again, he was detained and interrogated at "Ten Mile House. When he was searched, a codebook was found showing where Union Troops were positioned and how much ammunition they had. When questioned Dodd refused to name who had given him the information. His last words were said to be: "I can die, but I cannot betray the trust of a friend. His buried at Mount Holly Cemetery in Little Rock.
