「This lovely hotel was sited near the centre of Oban. The street often had parking spaces, albeit for two hours, payable at a meter. The hotel can tell you how to extend parking time. The room was kitted out with everything we needed. Breakfast was (in the hotel's words), "quirky", due to a small kitchen and dining room, but perfectly adequate. The staff were welcoming, super friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.」

Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend.」

「The hotel was quaint and charming, a little old in places but nothing major. The staffs were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location was great. Breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there and it was wonderful, other than they did not cook my steak correctly, but they took it off the bill, which is great customer service.」

「The pictures on Expedia were misleading. The check in went smoothly, however, we ultimately decided to leave and forgo staying. There were many people checking in so it appeared quite popular. The cost, given what other, nicer hotels in the area were charging, we decided to leave. My smell was of older place and my eyes were itching so we didn’t feel it was a good match for us.」

「I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I entered the room, my first impression was so poor that I genuinely felt like leaving immediately. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained, and the bathroom had a strong musty, mouldy smell. It was obvious that any refurbishment had been purely cosmetic, with fresh paint simply covering over old stains and deterioration rather than addressing the underlying problems. There were...

「At check in we were allocted a room on 3rd floor and informed the lift was out of order. As my Wife has a heart condition and is awaiting surgery this was unsuitable. we were informed that Expedia had been informed of the lack of a lift and that they (Expedia) should have advised us of this fact before we arrived. We stayed in the hotel for only one night checking out on the 27th June as my Wife found the stairs extremely difficult, having to stop and recover at each landing. I have to say that...
