Had a lovely overnight stay in mid February 2026. Lovely family run hotel, gorgeous scenery, delicious food and wonderful warm staff made for the most delightful stay. Staff very welcoming to children. Great gluten free and vegetarian meal choices at the restaurant along with a good priced children’s menu. Our family room had a very generous queen sized bed (? may have been king sized) and a sofa bed. Well priced for Valentines weekend. Would definitely stay again

Super attentive staff, someone always around to help. Calm and peaceful atmosphere, so so quiet. Room was great but we especially loved the surroundings - Loch Leven with the stars out was unforgettable.

We had two rooms for our family and they were both very comfortable. Nice hot showers, good heating, and very clean. We also had both our breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant for two days and they were excellent. We had a variety of dietary needs and everyone had delicious choices. Excellent service, food and ambiance. Overall we would highly recommend a stay!

This is a charming spot on the water with nice views. It's a bit old and worn (though I hear they're getting ready to do a full update), and the bathroom was the smallest I'd seen in a long time with a heating system I didn't attempt to use for a shower (in fairness, I was in one of the smaller style rooms they offered). That said, the folks who work in the dining area are lovely and the food was very good - best mussels I've ever had! Definitely recommend stopping in for a meal.

This hotel is in a beautiful yet convenient location, if driving, just off the main road to/from Glencoe. It was peaceful with a stunning outlook, which you get the full view of from the restaurant. We had the family room, which was spacious but didn’t have the benefit of the good view. The room was lovely but the shower was not hot so we were given a key to another room to use the electric shower there. The shower was a mains sourced one and the boiler had just been serviced so hadn’t heated the tank up by the time we needed the shower on arrival. The room was warm and comfortable otherwise. We ate here and the food was excellent. The breakfast was very good too with the beautiful view an added bonus. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

What truly made our Scotland trip was the gin tour. The owner gave us the tour and shared his passion for Gin. Never liked Gin till I came here! The hotel was old and the room was very small but it served it purpose. Be sure to book dinner as dining options are scarce in the area and it’s a bit of a drive. The food was good and the quaint bar that they had was outstanding. The bartender knew his craft and suggested drinks that suited our tastes and was very cozy with the fireplace lit.

Nice location with beautiful views over the water and mountains. The dinner was great and service very friendly. Rooms are a bit outdated I.e. showers are somewhat quirky to operate!

Very helpful and cheerful staff.We booked the "tiny double" by mistake but the gentleman on reception solved the problem with a smile. Tasty food and very welcoming lady in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast.
