"The Spillway did not disappoint. We only wish we hadn’t stayed longer. The units are brand new and in great condition. Nice kitchenette and breakfast bar makes it easy to enjoy food in but there are a few good options just a couple blocks away, but with a sauna, hot tub, bikes, kayaks all available on the property, you can also make a case for not leaving. We had a great time here. As a bonus the upper level (1BR) units have a common outdoor connection that is like a private backyard that is clutch for anyone traveling with kiddos or pups."

"I loved the old house smell. Having Leo on the welcoming committee filled the hole in my heart i was missing by being away from my kitties for the weekend. Very well organized kitchen to help accommodate every guest room. AND THEY HAVE TICKET TO RIDE! "

"Very comfortable bed. Fairly priced. The content is no breakfast. This morning was better than I expected, with bagels, fresh pastries, fresh fruit, and coding, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, and such, oatmeal, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, and orange juice."

"This hotel, is kind of dated, but clean. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The restaurant was really very good, and the staff was friendly."

"Our stay at the Bed and Breakfast wasperfect! The room was immaculate and everything we needed was in there, including snacks! The bed was comfortable as well. But the star of the show is the breakfasts!! It was delicious and so much that we didn't have to eat until dinner!! The dock area was the best to hang out on and they let us use the kayaks."

"Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. "
