"Valet was nice only downside was no one helped with bags so I had to take all my bags and kids up stairs. Room its self was decent but bath tube looked like it needed another cleaning. Other than that the staff was friendly and good location for hotel. "

"The property was super nice and the location is amazing. Close to redondo beach pier. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was amazing, they had bacon/sausage, eggs, pancakes, fruits, cereals, and so much more. 24/7 coffee/tea machine. Pool is heated and also indoor, spa was perfect. Everyone was just super friendly and smiling. They also have a snack shop to purchase anytime. We really enjoyed it and definitely coming back. "

"Charming little place. Staff were very friendly and helped me out when I had a question about the room. Nice little 10 minute walk to Redondo Pier. The room was a little stuffy when I got there but the AC cooled it off quickly. "

"Very noisy hotel. Lots of activity up and down the corridors most of the night. Elevator on the floor would wake me up each time it came to the floor with noise. Just not pleasant nor restful."

"Front desk was a bit distant but ok. Maintenance staff was super friendly and amazing. Room was one of the cleanest I’ve seen. Went to the pier, so location was perfect. Will definitely stay here again."

"The staff at Sonesta was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and welcoming and even though we were a bit early, our room was ready and we were able to check in and relax. When it was time for us to leave, we had a late flight, but we were able to check our bags with the valet/concierge and walk around the pier and boardwalk until it was time to go to the airport. Our room was comfortable and nicely updated. Plenty of outlets and charging ports without having to crawl behind or underneath furniture (I know...sounds silly, but now that absolutely everything needs a charger, it's a big deal!) The lobby and bar always had good energy and friendly people. At night we enjoyed sitting on the little balcony and listening to the seals in the harbor. The location is convenient to get anywhere, but enough off the piers to be peaceful and quiet. Several airlines must have contracts for rooms for their staff for layovers. There was always a steady stream of pilots and flight crews coming and going. Trust where the professionals go... The only part that wasn't 5 stars was the pool. It seems a bit overlooked and neglected. It is on the second floor, so it can't be a huge pool (water is too heavy for that), but there could be more done to make the very large, open concrete deck more inviting. All in all, definitely a good stay."
