「Hotel Ballaro is gorgeous; walking up the grand staircase into the hotel area almost feels like you could be a background character in Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready on our arrival, despite having sent our flight information ahead of time, and we were missed receiving the instructions on how to actually enter the building once we found it, but once that was sorted out, we had a lovely stay.」

「The property exceeded our expectations, it’s more of a hotel rather than a bed and breakfast. The room and property was excellent, the staff superb and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. When we checked in the hostess Daniela took the opportunity to provide us with a map and highlighted key sites to visit and appropriate walking distance, this was extremely useful. We would highly recommend this location for exploring Palermo. 」

「Perfect for my requirements as I spend very little time at the accommodation. It had a bed, shower and a little kitchen so I could make a snack and coffee. Hosts were excellent in both communication and welcome. As far as location goes, it couldn’t be better. Right in the centre of Historic Palermo without it. Wing complicated to find or get to. Everything if interest literally 5 to 10 minutes away. Exceptional value. If this was my property, I’d be charging double! 」
