"The room was average, some issues with being maintained- shower head leaked, when we used on site laundry dryer didnt dry- but wasnt too upset as it was free and we were leaving the next day was only washing so i didn't have to do it when we got home. Would've been nice if both bedrooms had dressers as there was only 1 for 2 bedrooms. And hooks anywhere in the room would've been nice to hang towels. Loved location to walk downtown. Free entry to Land of Natura and timbavati wildlife park were both great. Given 2 free drinks but did not use. Was also nice that we could go to any of their resorts and use the amenities!"

"As always, Fairmont Inns, are clean and nicely appointed. The issue we had was with the front desk and housekeeping. There was an accident on our second night and we needed one of the beds sheets changed. The woman at the desk said that it was a firm rule that housekeeping could only clean a room every three days. We had no issue with that, we did not want our room cleaned. We just needed one of the beds to have clean sheets because it was soiled and unsanitary to sleep in. The woman at the front desk made it seem like it was a really big deal, and we might have to be charged extra for it, and scheduling the service would be difficult?! Later that afternoon, there was a sweet young housekeeper in the hall near our room. We asked if she could just change those sheets, which she happily did in less than 5 minutes. It did not seem like a big deal to her or that we were complicating her schedule or in any way being unreasonable. We certainly understand the three day housekeeping plan and have no issues with that at all. But…things happen unexpectedly and need to be taken care of. We were made to feel like we were being unreasonable and demanding which was not the case at all. We weren’t asking for it to be done immediately, just sometime during the day. We were certainly taken aback by the front desk’s attitude and demeanor over what should have been a very small issue."
