「My two daughters and I normally stay in 5 star hotels when vacationing. This trip was a last minute getaway to Wisconsin Dells. I looked at different hotels in the area, but most of them were booked and/or slightly higher in cost for the dates we needed. Then I started looking at motels. There were many to choose from, but again we normally don't stay at motels. So, I am looking at all the reviews and one particular motel kept coming up with 4.8 to 5 star reviews. It was the Black Hawk Motel....

「Our room was clean, the beds comfortable and in-room amenities updated to what you should expect with a standard hotel room. Our friends room was filthy and gross but was able to get a room change. Free breakfast was minimal. Coffee was decent. Common areas were minimal. It’s definitely best suited for a place to sleep only. Staff was rude. They were more attentive to what ever they were watching or talking to on thier personal phone then answering questions or helping when standing at front...

「First thing I noticed was how great the staff was. Greeted with friendliness and smiles. They were helpful and thanked us for staying. We were even greeted for breakfast! Our room was very clean and neat. Nothing seemed dirty or out of place. Happy to stay again.」

「We stayed here for 2 nights after walking out of the Super 8 by Wyndham (whole other review...but stay away). We were in one of the rooms in the hotel, not a treehouse, after finding out there was no bathroom or shower in the treehouses. They did have bath houses available but we weren't looking for the "camping" experience so we grabbed a room. Nothing fancy, but adequate for my wife and I and eleven year old grandson. Perfect as a base for everything the Dells has to offer. Friendly staff. And...

「Jetted tub in the room was nice and worked great. Very convenient location to downtown Wisconsin Dells. Property could use some updates and maintenance. Breakfast had a few decent options like cereal, eggs, sausage, hash browns no bacon though😔. Overall was a decent stay.」

「I want to say this is my experience at the motel (which was the only one available for the weekend) the microwave didn’t work the lamp was out and there was a weird smell in the bathroom when we first got there On a GOOD note their are a lot of perks that come with staying at the property maybe I need to stay at a different part next time and book in advance」

「The bathtub was disgusting and cracked. The walks are thin and you can hear everything. We had very loud neighbors and were trying to get into our room around 1:00am. It was horrible we couldn’t wait to leave.」
