"We enjoyed our stay in La Mesa! The only drawback is the elevator which is quite slow. We would have taken the stairs, but the only stairs led to the outside requiring a walk around the building to get back into the lobby. Pretty inconvenient for our second floor stay. Otherwise a great place to stay when dropping your student off at San Diego State University."

"Front desk staff was amazing everyone I interacted with throughout the stay bugged issue was security trying to come into our room at 12:30 in the morning after literally just checking in around 10:30 pm to then just walk away with no explanation. Had to go ask the front desk and the gentleman working the front desk apologized for the mistake of wrong room number. All in all great but not a great way to start a stay."

"The entire experience was excellent. Starting with the very personable valet, to the inviting check-in folks, to the attentive pool staff, they all get it. Everyone is friendly, care about your experience, and set the vibe. Pool is a great scene and all the various amentities from the jazz club, the bowling alley, the diner, are fun, clean, and well run. Coming back for sure!"

"Our stay was great! We are a family of six, and the room with two queen beds and a sofa bed was perfect for our family. The room was clean, and we had plenty of clean towels. The breakfast was also excellent, with many options, and the chef kindly prepared scrambled eggs for my children, which they loved. The only issue was that there were no extra sheets for the sofa bed when we arrived. However, we called Guest Services, and they promptly brought them up to our room. Parking was full at the main lot, but there was another convenient parking lot nearby that was available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. Great property and great service, great staff!!"
