"The location is great, directly across the street from the beach, and the hosts were very responsive. They sent a technician twice to address the hot water issue, although it was never fully resolved. This place is not really suitable for five people unless you're comfortable being very cramped. The double sofa bed felt like sleeping on plywood, and the twin bed was simply a mattress on the floor. The hot water was unreliable and depended on the pilot light staying lit, so showers were hit or...

Miramar by Windsor Copacabana

10/10 Excellent

My stay at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal. The restaurant was a highlight of my trip — breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day, and dinner in the evening was just as memorable, both for the food and the atmosphere. Truly a beautiful hotel with excellent service.

Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort

The Sheraton in Rio can be rated “top location” and “worst location”. Its location is unique, no other hotel in Rio has a private beach and views like the Sheraton has, absolutely the best. However, it’s surrounded by a favela, you simply shall cannot walk anywhere, nowhere, from the hotel, due to its dangerous and high crime neighborhood. If you don’t mind catching a cab for just about everything, then I’m confident to say you won’t regret staying at the Sheraton

Yoo2 Rio felt like our home for 12 days in Rio and simply enjoyed everything! I can say that our hotel room offers one of the best views in Rio! And what do I have to say about its hospitality service? The manager, Nathalia, greeted us warmly and her team promptly helped us with any request that we needed! Big thanks Nathalia, Larissa and Vanessa and her team at the restaurant. Overall, we loved our stay and all the amenities especially rooftop area!! Thank you Yoo2 Rio for a wonderful stay!

Don't look elsewhere for low profile 5 star! All the staff wears converse, come to breakfast in bikini and get 5 star service if you like! You can breath in the 2 story plant wall restaurant and library. Oceanfront and beach staff with cold water umbrella and towel draped chaise waiting for YOU! You can get room service and cocktails on the beach! Rooftop pool. We initially booked another 5 star and when we pulled up - wow, the security was in believable and intimidating. Not at the Emilio! My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at the Fairmont Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, and we enjoyed our stay. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the bellmen Rogerio, Jose Carlos, and Mauricio. Our check in was very smooth with Carol, who was wonderful. She was able to get us an early check in. Additionally, she arranged an early check in for my elderly brother’s early morning arrival the next day for a half day fee. His actual check-in was with a different person, and was fairly...
