「城堡的範圍很大，車位也很充裕。房子內的整體衛生很好，也很適合班朋友一同入住。可是活動方面與期望有些落差，滿心以為可以在城堡內或附近騎馬，可是實際上是未能提供此活動。房子設施方面，隔音做得不錯，可是房子的門卻很難關上。」

「My stay was very pleasurable, nice clean room and bathroom. A large comfortable bed, and a good nights uninterrupted sleep. Great service and large portioned breakfast. I would certainly recommend a visit.」

「I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. 」

「Very convenient for town and only a few steps away from the Royal Oak pub. Stayed here as my mother lives around the corner. Would recommend. Easy access to the A66 and the Lakes only 40 minutes away. Locals very friendly.」

「Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

「The staff was excellent, shower didn’t drain well, beds were comfortable, there was no noise from the bar downstairs that we heard even though it was a Saturday night. Room was a little chilly when we went in. Would love to go back next year to see changes」
