"Our stay at The Beekman was great. The best part is the on site dining options. The Bar Room is stunning and has a great vibe. Be sure to make reservations if you are visiting in the evening on weekends. The bell staff are especially friendly. The only complaint would be that there is no self serve water in the lobby and twice during our stay the coffee was empty (no in room coffee available). Also, turn down service was only offered for part of our stay. "

"We spent more than a week at this property in late April. If you like walking in the city, this hotel has the perfect location to get anywhere with a healthy walk (not talking "around the corner" but something that will nicely get you over 10k steps/day) including the Central Park, Chelsea, Soho, East & West Village, etc. If you want to use the subway, the station is close-by. "Fantastic hotel. Beautiful, clean, and staffed with very friendly and competent people. Will definitely come back! One small nit: Many cable stations were out in my room. So I had to give up MSNBC for three nights and resort to CNN and a smattering of ABC news. It probably for was for own good;)"

"We chose the St.Regis for its famous lobby and bar and classic charm. We were not told until just before our arrival that the lobby was being renovated and off limits and the bar and restaurant were closed. We understand those are being modernized and the beautiful rooms will also be modernized. Exactly what we do not want, so we will not return."

The staff were very pleasant esp Erika at the front desk who let us check in early and Clarice at the pool who was very friendly and kept the area nice and tidy and organized. Great location to explore Chelsea, Village, and enjoy the Hudson river park and HighLine. The lobby cafe has good food and drinks too! Thank you Gansevoort team"
