"Waikiki Malia was clean and affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The elevators are a pain in the @$$, though. While we appreciate the convenience of on-site parking, trying to park an SUV was challenging. Also, navigating the tight turns in the parking structure was scary. I’m so surprised we didn’t scratch the car trying to exit. It wasn’t a bad stay at the hotel, just a couple of things that made the stay less than stellar."

"The hotel is clean and safe and the rooms are nice. Just make sure to understand the parking situation. No parking for guests, only valet parking there is a Garage next door though. "

"Nice convenient location to the beach and surrounding area for dining and shopping. Restaurant was average but there are plenty of other places within walking distance to hotel. We enjoyed our stay "

"King Bed (Waikiki View) - 8/10. Clean. Great size. Not too quiet. Next to the lifts so regular ‘bonging’ of lift arrival. On the 9th floor, but still heard plenty of traffic noise. Bathroom - 10/10. Clean. Good size. Lovely shower. Great towels. Bed - 10/10. Very comfy. WiFi - 10/10. Good. Pool - 7/10. Knew it wasn’t big, but didn’t realise how small a pool/area it would be. Only 30 free (non payable) loungers available. Often all were in use (as you’d expect with hotel with nearly 500...

"My three girls who are only 19 when on their own. My girls had an extremely fantastic time. They talked about how safe they felt and everything was walking distance."

"It was beautiful and the staff was lovely. But the temperature in my room was beyond cold. I blasted the heater and put a towel under the door but there was still cold air coming in through the hallways. Don’t understand why be so wasteful. I had to put on layers to sleep and my face was frozen every day."
