"In the picture it does look nice but it definitely has its cracks and damages. There was a couple areas in my room that were breaking down, many scratches on the floor, my push door was broke and my shower head seemed to not be working well but the maintenance man said it’s cause it needed to be clean. I believe it should’ve been clean before arrival and my pillow cases had stains on them as well. Bed was comfortable and lighting in bathroom was great and of course the view was great. "

"Breakfast menu had great options for a family of five. Room was clean. I really like being able to text someone from the front desk to get questions answered. The location is excellent as well. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Loved my stay. The cushions for the couch in the bedroom could’ve used a good wash. It’s exacting in the walking distance of everything which I was surprised about. I will be staying again. "

"I’ve stayed at an AC Hotel before and had a great experience, so I was a little disappointed with this stay. The hotel wasn’t dirty, but the room just didn’t feel very inviting like the other AC location I stayed at previously. The bathroom tub in particular was a bit disappointing, and there was a lack of towels and toiletries compared to what I would normally expect. We also had an issue with the heat not working when we first got into the room and had to call someone to come fix it. The staff did address it, but it added to the overall feeling that the stay wasn’t as smooth as it could have been. Parking was also quite expensive at about $70 for 24 hours, although I understand that’s fairly typical for downtown Chicago. One positive was the location. There were several places within walking distance including Walgreens, CVS, restaurants like Shake Shack and TGI Fridays, and even a Trader Joe’s in the same building, which was really convenient. Overall, the stay was okay, but it just didn’t live up to the experience I had at other AC Hotels."
