"The hotel was very nice. We didn’t use any amenities. The staff was very kind and helpful. The parking was HORRIBLE. The valet, parking garage, self parking, it is all not good. I know it is not the hotel staff’s fault, but the design, the layout, the way it’s done, is horrible. It is packed. The parking garage is filthy. It’s gross, trash, spilled drinks, bodily functions, etc. The hotel itself is pretty and clean The people were really nice. The rooms are clean, but the parking is a nightmare."

"Upon check-in, the receptionist was unfriendly. I had a double room, and one of the beds was dirty. The bathtub was clogged. I do not recommend this hotel for the price per night."

"This is my honest review: The exterior of the hotel and lobby are original, with beautiful architecture, and the location is very central. However, the rooms and hallways were outdated and felt unclean—there was black mould in the grout on the bathroom tiles, and the carpets clearly needed a professional cleaning. I understand this may be part of the hotel’s “aesthetic,” but I don’t think there’s any excuse for the room being dirty. Much of the furniture in the room also felt like it needed updating. The carousel bar was packed every time we went, so we eventually gave up trying to get in (which was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel). It’s also very close to Bourbon St, so walking back after dark didn’t feel like the safest experience. Overall, nothing about the hotel really stood out to us—it was simply a place to sleep."

"I’ve stayed at this property 3–4 times now, and it has truly become my go-to escape from the daily hustle. The overall vibe is very relaxed, and the beach is excellent—clean, accessible, and perfect for unwinding. One standout experience this trip was the valet/parking staff. Without me even asking, they charged my Tesla overnight. I didn’t realize it until the next morning, but it ended up saving me a tremendous amount of time since I was running late heading back to work in Sanford. That level of attention and initiative really stood out. The only downside is the pool area—it always seems to be packed, and I’ve never been able to find available chairs despite multiple stays. Also, the in-room coffee could be improved, but having a Starbucks downstairs definitely makes up for it. Overall, this hotel is amazing. Great atmosphere, great location, and thoughtful service. I’ll definitely be back again."

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The only issue I ran into was it looked as F the room had not been cleaned properly before I checked in, but they immediately took care of it and re-cleaned the whole entire room"

"The property was so nice. The pool area is really nice. It’s in a great location for walking to town. It’s also a great location to walk to restaurants. The rooms were large. I felt like it was larger than some Marriott rooms."
