Downtown San Diego 4 Stars Hotels

"Room and hotel seemed very clean but for the price and to charge a resort fee there are a couple things that were disappointing. Instead of 2 queen beds they were double beds which is unusual. And the rooms and hotel itself is extremely dated. For 1 night it worked. "

"Loved our stay at Hotel Indigo! The room was super clean, the staff was friendly, and the rooftop bar had such a great vibe with good music. The location was also perfect, which made everything easy to get to. The price point was great, too. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Extremely disappointing for the price. We paid extra for a Corner King Room with a bay + city view but were given a 7th-floor room facing the convention center — no city view, no balcony, and not even a pool view. Every corner room shown online appeared to include a balcony, which felt very misleading. The front desk was dismissive. We even asked to downgrade to a standard room just to get a pool or city view at minimum, but were told the hotel was fully booked due to a conference so we were out of luck. To make matters worse, we were charged a $50/day resort fee while both the pool and hot tub were closed for a private event... which is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We ended up checking out early and moving to another hotel for the rest of our vacation. Overall, a very disappointing Marriott experience."

"We had a flood in our room but were given another right away. At checkout we were emailed a receipt for the daily resort fee and incidentals and were charged everyday for $70 parking and we never had a car at the property which we made clear when we checked in. Now we will have to call to get hundreds of dollars refunded. Pay very close attention to your final payment when you check out. I doubt we will stay here again. "
