「What an incredible place! The room was lovely and spotless and the bed super comfy and breakfast delicious ... but it's the extra special touches and extra special team there that takes this to another level!!
There's free drinks in your bedroom, a very comfortable residents only lounge with more complimentary drinks (as you can see in the pics). That was a huge bonus and the staff were brilliant!

「Another great stay at the Crown & Garter. Friendly helpful check in & room was very comfortable & spotless as usual.
Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients.
Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise.
Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area.」

「only stayed one night whilst visiting a friend locally. really impressed with friendly staff. spacious venue. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks.
Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy.
Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...
