「Another great stay at the Crown & Garter. Friendly helpful check in & room was very comfortable & spotless as usual. Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients. Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise. Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area.」

「only stayed one night whilst visiting a friend locally. really impressed with friendly staff. spacious venue. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks. Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy. Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...

「Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird. 」

「Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast bun was amazing, the bacon and sausage tasted great. We had an evening meal which was also prepared and cooked well.
