White Bear Lake 3 Stars Hotels

"Was told that breakfast was free, but then another said it was an extra charge, so we didn't go down to it. The hotel elevators were crazy to try to get back to the hotel after a concert we went to. Would have loved a stairs option, but were told there was none. That made it stressful waiting and waiting and waiting to get on an elevator. Room was very nice though."

"The shower was kind of gross. Hair in the showing. Other than that clean. Not very happy with the $30 parking. I feel as tho parking should be included. Then the same lot i parked in is $5 if you pay through the parking place vs the hotel. Kind of a scam if you ask me. I asked about it and they said that they charge different prices even tho it’s the same lot. The hotel charges more. The staff was very nice tho. We liked the snack place downstairs very convenient. "

"The room was okay. Hot tub jets didn't work. A couple of the kids swim features didn't work. Main pool was cold. Breakfast was the most minimal continental breakfast I've seen. Just bagels, apples, oranges, apple sauce, muffins, and 3 cereals with communal milk. We stayed before and found the place nicer then. "

"One of the best experiences at a hotel we have ever had. The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the room very clean. We appreciated the walkway to the Target arena, which made the whole experience amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again."

"All of the staff looked like they had just lost their best friend and didn’t want to be there. Very unhelpful when we came with any question or concern. It was so stupid you couldn’t pay the difference so my grandson could get the item he wanted. He actually won a nice prize in the claw machine but it dropped it right before it was delivered. We told staff… they did nothing. Another machine also took his points… again nothing . Very disappointed "

"This motel is located directly across the street (Kilabrew St.) from the Mall of America. The motel has complimentary airport shuttle service, a very good breakfast, a decent small gym. It checks all the boxes, and I’ll return."

"My bed had a fingernail in it and the bedding was stained so they didn’t switch out the sheets before we arrived. I always do a bed check before sleeping and I was just shocked. Also their breakfast was just toast, cereal, and oatmeal as the main foods so if you want food options I wouldn’t say here is the best bet. The staff were extremely nice but cleanliness was not good at all."
