"The power went out Saturday morning which caused the elevators not to operate. Not a bad situation, but had to use the stairs. When we entered the stairs, many of the emergency exit signs and lights were not working. My son had to use his light on the cell phone to help an expecting mother see where to walk because it was extremely dark. Just thought someone would be interested in this before the fire marshall would find this out. Also, why would a hotel like this not have a backup generator....

"Easy parking garage across the street feom hotel. Hotel is connected to convention center. Shuttle took us to & from casinos. Cleaner than expected and friendly Shreveport courtesy. "

"The staff here were absolutely AMAZING!! So helpful and so friendly!! My friends and I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying here! The young men working offered several time to help with our bags, the sweet ladies at the desk did everything they could to make our stay as smooth as possible, and the sweet lady at breakfast was just precious!! "I stay here quite regularly for work.. the biggest problem is checking in. If you don’t catch Ahren or maybe one other employee it’s a nightmare. Check in takes to long they never figure out the upgrade of the food/beverage credit. When I walk in and see who’s working I usually cringe."

"They were doing renovations which made it noisy and smelled like paint. There also was not enough body wash in the containers in the shower."

"The hotel is a bit outdated. But other wise a nice hotel. The only thing that i have to say is that we came in a room after a dog and the floor had poop in the corner. We let the hotel staff know and they took care of it. We will come back in the future"

"We had the suite. It was nice and very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially the breakfast staff. We will definitely stay there again. "

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And I have stayed in a lot. Saying it was terrible is being kind. Dirty.dirty. Dirty. Health inspectors should close it down. No hot water. Garbage piling up. No breakfast. No pool. Staff useless. Wouldn’t take my shoes off. Floor Shame on Expedia for allowing it "
