Check in was quick and easy, the room was good other than the hard bed. And some of the shops were closed due to construction in the hotel. My wife and I wanted something to snack on or a light lunch without leaving the hotel, but at the moment only one place was open that said was a buffet. $120 dollars later, after choices of beans and rice, over cooked fish and greens and little shrimp sandwiches I was not amused. It was way overpriced for the variety and consistency of the food. We did enjoy the pool and met some nice people. And as far as enjoying the river walk, about 99% of all the shops were closed and out of business. Bass pro shop is about the only shop it in that area. Kinda sad, it used to be a thriving spot to go enjoy your day with the family.
