"Great location on a beach with a lot of shells. Property is well maintained and clean. However, we did not expect how outdated the furniture and decor would be. "

"My husband and I were schedule to be at Oceans reach from 8/31/17 to 9/10/17. Upon check in we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The property is beautifully maintained. Our condo was very nice and furnished in a very pleasing beach theme. We did have to be evacuated from the island due to hurricane Irma, but even that was handled so well. We will be returning. "

"This was a fantastic "dream holiday". The hotel and location were superb, and the car hire and flights all worked out well. Finding a place to stay on Sanibel has been an ambition since we first visited the island as day trippers many years ago. However finding somewhere to stay from here in the UK is not easy as this is not a resort covered by "normal" UK travel agents and tour operators. Expedia gave us the shop window through which to research the options, and with a little help from Google...

"Our trip was amazing and definitely looking forward to going back. Very relaxing and enjoyed shelling every morning. Totally lucked out with the weather as it was perfect the week we were there. My husband loved it and told me I did a great job picking the place to stay. We didn't leave the island the whole week we were there. We both needed a break and this trip was just what we needed."
