"We stayed at Bay Point, but had hoped to be in the main complex at Church Landing. The room was good, but had an odd plastic patio-like desk chair; hard and uncomfortable. Besides a bar/restaurant all other amenities were a few hundred yards away. A nice lake view, and ample parking. "

"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. "I wish I knew about the property when my kids were younger "

"We had a lovely stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were excellent, the history of the property was fascinating, and we felt so much more relaxed than if we had stayed at a "business hotel". The host greeted us when we returned each evening to ask how our day was and confirm what time we wanted breakfast the next day. Absolutely lovely experience, and we plan on returning."
