2. 勞雷爾湖普萊西德度假村

Lake Placid

「This place had tons of opportunity but took the cheap option at every turn. Location was great. But management seemed to take the lesser option each time. It says ‘breakfast,’ The breakfast was rather awful. Coffee carafe's were always empty. Even when we brought it to the staffs attention, it wasn't rectified in a timely manner. Breakfast consists of dry cereal, hard boiled eggs, and some toast options. Our room had no deadbolt, it appeared to be ripped off. Sadly, the potential was there, but...

3. 普萊西德湖 Cambria Hotel - 湖畔度假村

Lake Placid

「Hotel I believe is new, so what could be wrong? I have no complaints. It was clean and comfy. If I had to look for issues, I would say use trash can liners. Our bathroom trash can had bio debri plastered to the bottom. I expected Cambria to be more soundproof from neighboring rooms but it wasn’t bad, tolerable. Dish TV was in and out due to wind. Hotel would be my choice next visit to Lake Placid」

「OLD!!! Not what we expected. My wife wanted to leave when we walked in the door. I told her everything was booked in the area, and we made due. Bed was comfortable, but found flea beetles on the bed when we woke up. Texted the number in the lobby to communicate with no response now in ten hours. other than the bugs, small fridge available, microwave, small coffee maker, towels and shower work, but shower was all dark colored grout around the bottom. Bathroom very small, one roll of...

「Our room was small and did not have a sitting area, this is not to be taken as a complaint as this is the room we chose to book. It was still early evening and we wanted to sit and read for so we commandeered two overstuffed leather chairs in the reception area. Darren the host/manager could not have been more gracious, considerate and generous in accommodating us. He also was wonderful making sure all the guests were well served and their every need met. It was a pleasure meeting him and...

「We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned.」
