「Only stayed one night but it was clean and updated and was very impressed with it would stay again」

「The property needs updating. Staff was friendly. One tiny bar of soap for two people. No shower soap. No hair dryer. One queen was lumpy the other fine. Parking was good. Breakfast was underwhelming. No fresh fruit, although there was signage for such. We got to breakfast at 7:20, scrambled eggs were just about gone. Barely got a spoonful. Although they had a sign for pastries, there were none. 」

「Wrote a Google review. It’s been renovated but just lipstick on a pig. Older fixtures and cracks/tears. Noisy. Charged us $13 each for standard ‘free breakfast’ everywhere else. Replied on Google that it was made-to-order option, which no one mentioned nor observed and other guests had same complaints around us. Most guests are staying next to the highway and close to fairgrounds for a mid-priced hotel. They’re trying for upscale, but it doesn’t work there. We won’t stay there again.」
