「The place was super clean, front desk staff extremely helpful as was the house keeping staff. The breakfast was really good and the ladies who cooked and managed the buffet kept it clean and well stocked and even opened a new bottle of plain cinnamon for my oatmeal (I don't eat cinnamon sugar.) The beds were great, the towels fluffy and the kitchen and bathroom very clean. The hotel location was perfect, right at the harbor and within waling distance of the whole town of Fernandina Beach. 」

「Love the old charm of the building. If your looking for super fancy, this isn't the place and that's exactly what I loved about it! It was fun to explore. Shopping and food very close. Fort Clinch only about 5 minutes away. Love Fernandina. Will definitely stay again. 」

「The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied. 」
