I have stayed here before when it was not "in season." It was great. The fact that they do not charge for pets is incredible. I have not found a hotel that does not charge for pets, other than this one. That is a plus. They even gave me a little doggy bag with gifts for my dog when I checked in. However, this time was different. There was no gift for my dog and parking was an absolute nightmare as it was now "in season." I also could not connect to the Internet which I needed for work. There was no one at the hotel who could help me. I was given a phone number to call however, after 45 minutes on hold, no one ever picked up. On a positive note, the hotel was basically clean even though I felt like the shower could have been scrubbed a little better. There are many nearby restaurants, including an adorable, freestanding ice cream shop. I was disappointed that free breakfast was not included. In fact there really wasn't much breakfast to pay for. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby. There is also a bar in the lobby with happy hour specials. There are many other hotels nearby that offer free breakfast for the same hotel price so I am sorry to say, they may be my first choice next time I travel. Also, I feel that the beds are a little bit of a safety issue. The frame sticks out so much further than the mattress, that I walked into it multiple times, bruising my shin, as did my travel partner.
