"I recently stayed at the Trumbull and Porter Hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself was okay—nothing special, but not terrible either. It was generally clean, though the concrete floors with area rugs weren’t ideal. The rugs in our room were noticeably stained. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was safety. "Clean room when it was cleaned. There was a day during my stay that housekeeping did not tend to the room (no, there was not a “do not disturb” sign on the handle). Also, when I first got to the room there were smears on the fridge, the blind was partially shredded, and there were some nooks with debris from prior stays. Staff was good. There was no breakfast while I stayed. They were “undergoing renovations” (I did not see anything happening while I was there). The airport shuttle was good as well for adding another passenger suddenly. Overall it is a fine stay. "
