「Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again」

「The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet felt like it belonged in an elementary school. It’s a cool old house! Staff was nice but there seems to be a disconnect with communication between the owner and them. We got several automated messages but staff was unaware of what they said. Also, do NOT spend the extra money for the “gourmet” breakfast! It’s not great and definitely not worth the price. Go to one of the cute local places instead. Overall,...

「We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.」
