「Staff worked hard and were very kind. Breakfast was great. The pool kept losing power. There is an odor of the hotel. I had to wash all of the clothes when I returned due to the smell. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean. The hotel has seen its better days. 」

「The room was great. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. I wish I had more time to use the fitness center because it was waaaaay better than one might find in other hotels. Of course, the hotel is in the heart of Boone.」

「Such a homely welcoming hotel with large sized bedrooms in a quiet location with the benefit of a large indoor swimming pool.
Would highly recommend.
We had breakfast in the town where there are restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
Blowing Rock is a charming town but if you want nightlife Boone is the place.」

「We love this place & so do our dogs. Peaceful and lot to enjoy in nature. Plus indoor pool, sauna & hot tub are relaxing after hiking nearby. Near restaurants & boutique shops too.」

「Coffee was EXCELLENT. Breakfast was fresh and filling. Although the property could use some upgrades (carpet, paint) the room was clean and well equipped. Staff were very personable.」
