"The location was great, facing towards the city centre while the river is out the back. Breakfasts were delicious with various selections as were the dinners. We went to their cozy bar every evening before dinner. Mostly, I enjoyed the old world atmosphere, especially the lovely sitting room. The staff was very professional yet very friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and sizable. Loved the place!"

"Excellent breakfast, freshly produced. Room large, comfortable and well-equipped. But 2nd floor involves old-fashioned stairs with variable tread width etc, - awkward with anything bigger than a backpack. Very helpful staff particularly in helping when one of us needed medical attention."
