"Wonderful welcome from all staff, our dog Emma received many cuddles. Room was eloquently decorated in keeping with house. Spa was luxurious, lots of in door and outdoor amenities. "The only downside to the stay was the shower. It was almost impossible to regulate the temperature and never able to get anything other than a lukewarm shower. It needs replaced with a modern shower. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful"

Central location quite a nice hotel
"Convenient hotel. Shame the fires werent lit to give it that homely feel. No atmosphere or background music in the bar. Breakfast a bit hit and miss - the self service buffet excellent choice but cooked breakfast disappointing - one morning no eggs and another morning no gas??"
