The Drag 2 Stars Hotels

Amazing stay love the location and staff

I stayed for a concert at Moody Theater and the hotel was only a five-minute walk. The rooms was clean and the beds were comfortable

Seemed like a new build. Very clean and comfortable bed. Staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning provided your normal options with a spacious and clean dining area. I would visit again.

This hotel was nice and stayed clean. Towels stayed full while out at the poolside

We stayed here for four days, our car was safe, we felt safe in the area, staff was friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning.

The Austin Motel is all about keeping Austin weird! Only stay here if you are happy to expect incredible service and lots of options to eat, drink and shop. Also, if you are needing a kitch pool you will find one of the best in Austin. Expect the pool bartender to take excellent care of you (Brett). Enjoy!

Clean and well maintained. Even with the rush of new arrivals the staff was attentive and very helpful. Excellent service.

We stayed over on their first weekend open and it was a good stay overall. The property was nice and clean. They provided earplugs which were much needed as it is a party heavy neighborhood. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is not the place. But if you’re looking to be close to the local bars, this is it. Worst part was that the towels were very linty but not that big of a deal.

Young lady at check in not friendly, no greeting, no smile, not rude, minimal words. Lady doing breakfast and the check out gentleman were super friendly, smiling and asking if you needed anything, wow what a great morning staff!!! Wish I knew there names I’d give them both a big kudos!!! Thank you

I had an amazing stay at this location, it exceeded my expectations. It’s located close enough to downtown and yet not square in the middle of the city. I took a great walk down to a park that is a few blocks away through a very peaceful neighborhood with many food options located relatively close. I would certainly come back next time I am in Austin!

Great stay.

Nothing to add at this time.

The hotel was nice, clean, and free parking is a plus. It is about 20min by car from Austin downtown which is not bad, and the price was good.

It was real close to the airport. Wake up call came on time. It helped make trip easier.

I like this hotel run by the owner’s family members. Latest: JOSE, one their employees, Jose found my wallet which I left by the outdoors fireplace and promptly delivered it back to me. A good man.

Superb in every area. Staff was friendly. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. I will be back.
