Though the hotel appeared clean and newly renovated, on the second and last night of our stay, during our sleep, the room was infested with ants. The ants made their way on to the beds, in our bags, and on to our clothing. Some ants bit during the night and left welts on our bodies. This experience was unsettling and unacceptable, especially considering the potential health implications of an insect infestation. We took photographs showing our claim of the infestation. The issue was reported to a front desk associate but felt dismissed and unheard. The response was that a "note would be made of the problem," which was an insufficient response.
I would not recommend that anyone stay at this hotel due to the potential of insects invading your room, your belongings and biting you. Due to this horrible experience, we have now officially written off Best Western hotels as places to stay in the future.
