"Nice camping place, but lack of communication left overall bad impression. I was asked to rebook the stay and was promised by email and during our stay to be refunded the price difference. I never received refund from the managers, even though I have written several emails after our stay. Seems like highly overpriced place for a tent with ants inside and not 100% clean bedding. "The Kern Lodge is cute, comfortable and a great value. It's an old family style lodge. The rooms are good sized and clean. Maybe not the best bed but all 5 of us slept just fine. Location is walkable to literally everything. I can't say enough nice things about the gentlemen who runs the place. We will be back!."
