There were some good hiking trails nearby. We took a quick hike at the preserve, but there was still snow up in the mountains in early March, so the ground was icy and it technically wasn't open. I wouldn't make it a destination but it's a good stop

"Great property, clean, quiet room with nice breakfast. The staff were not friendly and acted like they didn't care if we were there or not. There is a Denny's, Subway and Starbucks across the within walking distance. We would stay here again!"
