The whole family from Texas, Arizona, and from San Francisco flew down to enjoy the comforts of kernville and it was as expected , beautiful views , great water activities. The hotel is amazing, Wonderful host, great Amenities and Restaurant, bar's including shopping is all walking distance. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Kernville.The hotel owner John and the staff was amazing Thank you for all the memories, will be back.

The best thing about this rustic little lodge is the location! You have a private beach on the Kern River right outside the room! The owners are super chill and friendly! The AC was working its ass off to keep us cool on 95+ days but boy was it LOUD!! We literally had to go get earplugs😆 All in all, a lovely little family owned lodge for all of your Kernville adventures.

Annette is awesome, the property is a great location and right in town. You can walk to anywhere in kernville so easily. The riverfront area is private and just for guests and they keep people out that dont stay there. They are great hosts and a great spot.

This is a historical mountain hotel. Movie stars from old western movies used to stay here. It is right on the Kern River in the heart of beautiful Kernville, California. The staff is amazing and the coffee is fresh and hot in the common room every morning! Parks, restaurants,fishing,and shopping are all within walking distance.

It's tough to beat the location of this motel. It is right on the banks of the Kern River. The property is definitely showing it's age, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

One of my favorite places to stay in Kernville close to downtown restaurants and bars, and is easy enough to get to the market or the upper Kern. It’s a cute little motel slightly rundown, but that adds to the character Pet friendly and good enough to spend all day at the river and come back and shower and sleep. Will stay again !!!!!
