"We had a great stay – the place was clean and the atmosphere very friendly. Unfortunately, there were no dishes or cutlery available, which made cooking and eating a bit tricky. However, there were grills and charcoal provided on-site, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a pleasant experience with just a few small things to keep in mind."

Kernville is a very charming town. People were generally happy and friendly. Highlights of our trip were floating down the river from Waterhouse to town, white Water Rafting with Sierra South, coffee from the Blue Bear Cafe& dinner from The Italian.

Town is cute but overpriced in my opinion. Its a resort area though so expect that. The Pizza Barn had excellent pizza and the people we met were friendly. Fishing is the focus here so if that's your desire looks like a good place.

The sweetest town with amazing locals! Always a great time in Kernville!!
"It's close to the river. We've been camping at Camp 3 for over 20 years. This time, we wanted to sleep comfortably and be close to the river to enjoy it more. The second night, they helped us light the BBQ and make a campfire. The gentleman was very kind."
