"Well. A very new motel style hotel. Nice staff. Really good breakfast. Great room, great bathroom. But, it is in the middle of no-where. In the middle of a rice paddy to be precise. Which I could admire from my balcony. Plus was it was very quiet. I was riding round Taiwan. I guess the location would not be a problem if I had a car. The location made it a little hard to find too. There is a convenience store about 200m away."
"Rooms are big but dusty. Bigger rooms have air-conditioning but smaller rooms do not have air-conditioning, and rely on the cool air in the evening. Therefore have to open windows. Bath tub available, but each guest is provided with only a small packet of shower gel/shampoo packet. So you can only take 1 shower a day, unless you bring along your own shower gel/shapoo. Breakfast was great if you like asian food. Coin-operated laundry is available, but not commercial types. Did not see any dryer...
"This is a really beautiful place to come and stay. They very kindly gave us an upgrade as they had the space. The staff were AMAZING to us, they were so helpful. The room was excellent. Super clean and really, really comfortable and well decorated. We would definitely come back if we stayed in Hualien again. "
"This little hotel is in a quite, out of the way neighborhood in Puli. It has a theme of bright colors and some of the rooms have cartoon themes. I had to laugh when I checked in because it wasn't what I expected. But it was clean and well maintained. There are a few interesting things within walking distance, although it is away from the downtown area, so taxis will have to be part of your plan if you don't have your own transportation."
"I should have read previous travelers' reviews. The room is humid and old with basic amenities. Water in the shower is weak and lukewarm which shall be too cold in winter. There is a small electric fan, but no aircoditioning. There is no coffee or soybean milk for the simple breakfast. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable but I got what I paid for."
